Vacaville, California: This is a 30-year-old man who presents with adolescent gynecomastia. He has had his enlarged chest since approximately 13 years old. His gynecomastia had increased over his teenage years due to a great weight gain. Hishighest weight was 330 pounds and at present 220. He does not take off his shirt in public due to great embarrassment. T-shirt are to revealing of his chest to wear in public. His goal is to get rid of his gynecomastia breast. He wants a more normal chest and to be able to take off his shirt. He underwent gynecomastia breast gland excision and liposuction to his chest in addition to liposuction of the axilla or arm pit area. The axilla liposuction is performed with the patient on his side with his arm extended opposed to lying flat. He had 61 grams of tissue removed from his right side as well as 650 cc of fat removed with liposuction His left side underwent 72 grams of gynecomastia breast tissue excision as well as 550 cc of fat removed with liposuction. The axilla had approximately 700 cc of fat extracted from each side. His surgery was performed in Marin County California at Marin Cosmetic Surgery Center in Novato, California. Dr. Miguel A.
