Patient 1325

This is a 38 y.o. male 5’11” and 215 lb who underwent male breast reductions surgery for adolescent gynecomastia. He is seen 2 months after surgery.

Note he has skin laxity more on the left than the right.  A peri-areolar lift could be done to tighten the skin on the left side.

Patient 7819

This is a 41 y.o. male 5′ 10″ and 185 lb who underwent male breast reduction surgery for adult gynecomastia. He is seen 2 months after surgery.

Note he is still healing with underlying scar tissue present. The area will smooth out and relax in a few month.

Patient 7744

This is a 38 y.o. male 5′ 9″ and 193 lb who underwent male breast reduction surgery for adult gynecomastia. He is seen 1 month after surgery.

Note he is still in the early healing period.

Patient 6553

This is a 40 y.o. male 5’11 ” and 230lb who underwent male breast reductions surgery for adult gynecomastia. He is seen 4 months after surgery.

Note that because of the laxity of skin we performed a superior crescent lift.  This lift removes a half-moon shape of skin on the top half of the areola, then closes it in a higher position. The incision is healing well.

Patient 8788

This is a 45 y.o. male 5′ 11″ and 205 lb who underwent male breast reductions surgery for adult gynecomastia. He is seen 2 months after surgery.

Note that his skin is still healing from heat therapy place underneath the skin at the time of surgery to help contraction.
