Ugly scar, help needed
« on: August 06, 2016, 04:00:14 PM »
Six months old scar, still red and big, what should I do?
I used Contractubex, but doesnt help so much and I feel that it iritates scar...and also scar become itchy if I use it every day.

Is there a chance to fix this, and how?
Thank you!

You need to use a silicone gel, its pretty much the only proven way to reduce scars. It is avaialble specifically for scars which is expensive or you can use some pure silicone grease  which is normally used for scuba equipment and also sex lube which is much cheaper but I amagine more messy.

Have you thought about going back to the surgeon for advice?
