Too much lipo

Hi there everyone. I've been lurking on this site for a while now and just want to say thanks to all the doctors and contributers to the site, it is a great resource of information and it's what finnally made me bite the bullet and decide to get surgery.
I am now 3 months post surgery and starting to get concerned that too much fat has been taken out of my left side. When unflexed there is a a wavy or rippled look to the chest that doesn't look right. I also have what feels like a tendon appear when I lift my arm above my head. This happens on both sides but mainly on the left, any ideas what this could be? And any chance the left side will heal flat and smooth? I think it's gradually getting better but it's hard to judge. I've included some pics which I find very difficult to take which actually shows the problem. It seems to look worse depending on the lighting.

Best to speak to your surgeon about this -- he knows what was done during surgery and would be in the best position to answer your questions.

Thanks for your response Dr Elliot. I have an appointment with my surgeon in 2 weeks, but I have brought it up with him in previous appointments and his answer is always to give it more time. I understand it's only been 3 months but I have regained all feeling in the chest and apart from this issue I feel 100% healed.

Glad you are pleased -- but realize that despite the return of sensation, there is still on-going healing until at least six months or more.  Things can only get better.

That's good to hear that I still have lots of healing ahead of me. I guess it's time to be patient but it's hard sometimes :) thanks doc.
