Level of activity allowed
« on: October 25, 2010, 04:45:11 AM »
I know you are not supposed to exercise for a while after the surgery (excision), but what is the allowed level of activity? Are you allowed to walk without restrictions the first week? If I am going to do the surgery in a city where I'll be staying 10 days post-surgery, can I do sightseeing, walk around the city to get my food etc? Will walking jeopardize the results? Are you supposed to have complete rest - lie in bed - or is walking fine from second day onwards?

Please share your experiences.

I didn't feel like doing much the day of and not much the day after, but that was just me.  You should be able to go sight seeing. Just don't wear any back packs or lift anything heavy. Don't put any unnecessary stress on your muscles.
