I supposedly have very high levels of testosterone (900+). I also have a nice physique but large puffy nipples that are soft and cone out, i'm pretty sure it is gynecomastia, but maybe the fatty kind i'm not sure, suggestions? Isn't it normal to have high estrogen resulting in gynecomastia? I'm confused.

There is a very good reason why we have a large number of Medical Specialties. Your case is one example of this.

Simply knowing the Testosterone level and nothing else really tells a person very little. This is because the hormones do not act singly as solo musical instruments would; they act together more like the sum of all the instruments in a symphony orchestra. If you can grasp that, then you can easily understand why it would sometimes take a specialist to understand what is happening in your case. For glandular or hormonal issues this specialist would be an Endocrinologist.

Among the other things that need to be known is what the range is for Testosterone at that particular lab, some of the other hormone levels, and whether your physical condition and symptoms indicate an imbalance. Your age is also important as you would be near the top of the normal adult range as a young adult but somewhat lower as you age.

Can excessive Testosterone do quirky things? Of course it can. But the condition is rather rare and I'd suggest you probably have other things happening in your life that are of greater concern. Even so, I think you are wise to get everything checked out.

Thanks for the reply. and yeah those were the doctors tests, and since the testosterone was high she referred me to an Endocrinologist, which I wont be going to for another week or so. I guess that's when i'll find out the actual in depth details of the tests. Also, if it is a noticeable hormonal imbalance can it be fixed without surgery if the cause is known? Thanks
