Time flying by. Left side still a little swollen relative to the right but nothing catastrophic. Soreness is 0/10 and hasn't been present for ages - healed basically.
When I hit the year mark I'll ask about getting Adam to fix it, since he already agreed to do it if it was still there, not obsessing over it though, just something that I might as well do, otherwise all fine on the chesticle front.

Thanks. I occasionally get people PM me to tell me it helped them with their surgery, even if they didn't go to this particular place which is always nice and why I did a write up in the first place (other than the pictures to look back on).

Great read! It sounds like my story I posted here.

Did/are you going for any follow up surgery? It takes time but it should be healed up. After you stop wearing the vest things start to feel a lot better.

I healed ages ago. I actually healed very quickly and never really had any notable discomfort even shortly after the surgery - the most painful thing was changing dressings where the tape stuck to my chest hair!

As for follow-up surgery, I've been approved to have what is technically a revision, but like I said a while back it's pretty minor. I have a bit of what's either scar tissue or trapped fluid or something on the left side that creates some asymmetry which bugs me. It's more noticeable when my nipples go hard for some reason (I guess because the skin tightens). When I took my photos to send to Adam I deliberately made it look as prominent as possible with the lighting. In real life it's not that obvious but it bugs me, revisions are free (unless you need a general anaesthetic which is £200) so I might as well do it.

I've been very lazy sorting out a date though so no current ETA - I guess I wanted to wait for summer to finish plus I'd like to know whether I need to spend another 4 days in Wroclaw or if like they insinuated it'd be a quick job. I guess I won't know until I go there so I may as well provision for 4 days again...

Hi, I am considering the surgery myself, how did you hear about that Clinic? Did someone recommend it to you, or did you google a specific phrase? I am dreading to go abroad, but financially it is the only option for me. I'd rather go somewhere that is recommended by many, but judging by the Facebook comment Noa Clinic would not be my choice? Advice would be appreciated!

Hi.

I saw a couple of very comprehensive reviews on UK bodybuilding forums (which I modelled my own thread after) whilst looking for alternatives to having it done over here. I then looked at the clinic as a whole - they do a lot cosmetic surgery for low-level celebrities (like reality TV stars) and have extensive reviews for things like nose and boob jobs available to read online. There is a FB group for the clinic and on the rare occasion I see someone complain there it's usually something subjective (I think the nature of cosmetic surgery means some people are never happy and always want to tinker change something), otherwise most seem pleased. Logistically it's very easy to get to - one flight and a short taxi ride gets you there - the actual city seems nice and there's stuff to do to kill time and socialising with fellow patients is encouraged. Obviously the quality of the surgery is paramount but I appreciated those things.

Arrived back from Wroclaw yesterday evening. Revision complete...

Stayed at the Puro this time. Two thumbs up. Surgery was more complicated than last time - only had the left side corrected as that was all that was needed but due to going through scar tissue and possibly garlic consumption(!?) after the operation Monday morning I developed a haematoma (blood clotting) which meant I had to go under again the same evening to have it evacuated, to use the medical speak. This did the trick although it left me a bit sore and meant I had zero food for the entire day. Breakfast Tuesday morning in the clinic was massively enjoyable.
I was deemed fit to leave Tuesday morning albeit with a drain attached to me (I'd also been attached to a drip even after the first time I woke up, which I hadn't needed the first time) which wasn't very convenient or attractive but it stayed pretty empty which was a great sign. Wednesday morning I brought my Macom vest in, had my dressings changed and put the much more comfy vest on and was given the all clear to fly back.

More bruised and swollen than last time but it was my choice so it's all good. I'll keep you all posted with recovery and pictures when it's healed a bit. Forgotten how crappy wearing the compression garment is ha-ha, only another 5 and a bit weeks to go with it on 24/7 bar showers.

So, here's why I wanted the revision. As you can see the left side had some noticeable puffiness and asymmetry which I wanted fixed.

Post surgery... it looks a lot worse than it feels! Hopefully in another week it won't resemble a war-zone quite as much.

Think you mean left? The mirror shot obviously switches the sides round - it seems to just be some glandular tissue that got missed first time round I guess. Touch wood once I heal up the symmetry will be better.
I do have some stubborn fat around the axial area which no matter how lean I seem to get, and I dieted pre-surgery and got pretty lean again... see pic... doesn't seem to budge so I'm going to go down the cryolipolysis route for that in the future rather than any further invasive surgery. Finger's crossed I'm done with gyno surgery.

cool

Bruising pretty much all gone. Swelling down considerably but still got a little way to go. Will take some pics tomorrow perhaps. Back at the gym and lost a load of strength but I'm sure it'll come back over the next few weeks. Lost some weight too but now I'm more active I'll start eating more and it should go back up!
This coming Monday will be 28 days post-op and I'll start some light massage then. The plan is to keep wearing the compression garment 24/7 (excluding showers) for another 2 weeks after that to get to the 6 week mark and keep wearing it overnight for another 2-4 weeks. After that I'll have 2 skin-tone Macom compression garments in size small for sale. Maybe 2 for the price of 1 new one, or something like that... but as said I've still got some milage to go with them yet before I can bid them adieu forever.

Forgot to upload, oops. Looks slightly better than this now actually but this was last week. The 'dry skin' is actually this liquid plaster I was using - which I've now finished with since the wound is healed sufficiently; just waiting for the swelling to subside - washed off after a few showers.

4 week mark tomorrow.
