There is a natural sequence of events as one heals from gyne surgery.  Each patient is different and good old Mother Nature is involved in the healing process as well.  What one sees soon after surgery may not be the same as what one will look like at 6-8 weeks -- or in 6-8 months!  That is why frequent communication with your surgeon is important so that you can be provided with info about what is happening.  Communication will avoid disappointment.
