When I get to the point that I need to buy bras again I would like to try the racer or flex back style support bra. Being as big as I am it takes a lot to hold them up you know!

Yes blue under blue works well for me,so thanks for the suggestion. Like you Hammer I need a lot of support and get measured properly to get it correct. I no longer find that process an embarrassment, all very professional.

Where have you gone to be measured?  I haven't had it done yet, comfortable with my size but it would be nice to know if I am right.

I haven't gone to get fitted myself yet! Debbie and I have just done that ourselves. Our oldest daughter is very well built and has recommended bras that work for her. Actually I wouldn't mine going to the Male of America to get fitted as that is where our oldest got fitted one time but the places that do it charge an arm and a leg for there bras, and I'm not willing to pay those prices, after all I've only got two of each!

Bman41, maybe if you and the wife come up we can run out to the MOA and get it done together! Our wife's can be there supporting (no pun intended) us together!

I recently got a few pair of " Breezies  " overstocks from a company that sells on ebay they are from one of those shopping network sites , they are seamless light support shirred cup sports bras .they are light and fit well. I mostly use medium support danskin sports bras but do like not to have my boobs squashed all the time.so too each his own .

I mostly wear Olga style bras - they have great fit and nice selections, especially in seamless styles - very comfortable for all day wear - I am 36d and need the support!

I wonder in reality the number of men that wear bras because they need to, like us (not the ones because of weirdness). If bra manufacture companies would take notice, maybe they would start to make bras with us in mind!

I know that we all take some time in trial and error to find something that works, but if they would focus on us with a line of products it would be very helpful! There are as many likes and dislikes as far as who likes this or that in a bra with us then with woman except we would need as many color choices.

I know with large breast like my DD's minimizer bras help with front hooks less visible in the back is a plus.

Many like the t-shirt bra, but no matter what support is important.

So come on "just my size" (one of my brands) wake up and smell the market in men's bras!

I found the Soma Embraceable No-Show Minimizer works well, and I usually, at least when cold out, wear a spandex t-shift over it to further camouflage the clasp in back.

Depending on what shirt I am wearing depends on what bra I wear, some show the clasp more than others.  Soma does a decent job at making it not very obvious.  I just keep to t-shirt bras.  Vanity Fair 76380 and 76080 (minimizer version of the 76380) are top choices in a decent price very high quality t-shirt bra.

I don't think I have any front close anymore, I would like, but they are a tad fussier on fitting.  I have wanted to get a Soma Vanishing Back bra, but the cost is still steep.  I got very tired of wearing sports bras, just too uncomfortable for daily wear.  When I talked to a fitter at Soma she said women complain about the same thing with sports bras.

If anyone at work has ever noticed they have never said a work or indicated they notice.

I have found that  whatever bras I use they always stop me at airport  security checks . Do any other  members who need to wear a bra for support have this  ritual  dreadful experience ?

We were there to see my daughter off from Navy boot camp (Great Lakes Ill) to her "A" school after she graduated boot camp. At The airport I "bra less" went through the X-ray and I still needed to be searched under my breast because it was to dense to see with the X-ray! The guy doing it was very polite and a vet himself. I explained why a had big breast and he apologized. He also had to do my power wheelchair as well, that took some time as well.

This is why I always said if I can't drive there, I'm not going, as it took forever to get me through security, and they let us go with my daughter through the military section! My wife now agrees with me as far as no more airports for me!

Thanks Hammer for your quick response.I live in the UK so going to another country from Scotland always involves that embarrassing experience. I was also thinking of giving up these flights.

Makes me think wearing an underwire bra would be the most obvious, and when they pull you aside to pad down when they get to that area, tell them you are wearing a bra.  They will be embarrassed and let you go.

The problem is  Bman that in these days of airport security  when all sorts of things are being carried  that a  search of any suspicious area is  inevitable I'm afraid.  When you are on the very large side  you are bound to get noticed  whatever you wear underneath.
