I know I have Gynecomastia but am curious if I have female breast glands (pics)

New member and am curious if my boobs are just fat or does it look like breast glands. When I pinch behind my nipples, there is hard mass like 2-3" in diameter. All my life I worked out hard and lost weight but still had boobs. Now that I am 58 years old, I kind of want to know what I am dealing with and if I am candidate for surgery at my age.

That's a tell-tale sign.  You just described feeling the glands.

Definitely good sized female shaped breasts with larger feminine areolae and thicker, longer nipples even. 

From what you described, sounds like you have glandular tissue, so your breasts would be both mammary gland and fat, just like a woman’s.

I would guess you are about a C cup.  You definitely pass the pencil test

Welcome to the club! I'm 57 and I just started down this road a few weeks ago. Surgery on Jan 20. Read some of my posts, I think we have similar stories.

Some breast tissue and shape but nothing out of the ordinary regarding breast shape for a man. Areola size and nipple look male and breast shape look more man boob than feminine breast. If seeing you at a pool beach etc I wouldn’t think anything other than a dude with some slight man boob action. I’m sure a bra could help but judging by the image I can’t imagine they are difficult to work with. Though everyone is different and if support helps support should be considered.
