Acceptance / Re: My Gyno acceptance story
« Last post by Johndoe1 on August 11, 2020, 09:05:44 PM »
Welcome! You are definitely not alone! Just remember that the ABTF calculator is a STARTING POINT. The six measurements will get you close. Also remember you can try a bra that IS your correct size, but if the style is wrong for you breasts and body, it will not fit right. Getting the correct bra is a trial and error game. That is why most women hate bra shopping. You can try on 10 different bras until you find the right one. Hang in there and you WILL eventually find a bra that fits. In the end, it's worth all the hassle and trouble.

Acceptance / My Gyno acceptance story
« Last post by Traveler on August 11, 2020, 07:58:32 PM »
Hello all! Thank you for sharing your time and stories here, they have been a blessing. My story is the same as many others here. Started to get growth young, causing self image and weight issues. Tried ignoring them, hated them, told time and again by doctors to “ just lose weight”, then a period of love/hate to finally accepting them. Two years ago they started to ache/hurt. Told the wife I thought it was time for some sort of support. Weirded her out a bit but she helped me pick out a couple of sport bras but I got weirded out and settled on a compression tee. Prostrate issues popped up, getting up four times a night just became too much. Now on meds that helped even though I just knew I’d be that 1 in a hundred, and sure enough, I’m a bit bigger. Started looking for help and found this site! I’ve read so much in the acceptance side I’ve decided it’s time for real support. Here are my current stats.
To say the least, I’m shocked!
Going to try Lane Bryant’s.
Suggestions for best styles for support and flying under the radar? Also, saw a suggestion for a Soma tank but can’t find it again.
Thank you!

Could not agree more with MarcoB regarding the virtually illegible font. Bad enough on a large screen, but really hard to see on a tablet or phone. I wish there was a way to opt for a boring but legible font.

Post Surgery and Healing After Surgery / Long or short vest?
« Last post by Alt Solution on August 10, 2020, 11:08:52 AM »
Hello,

I am in my first week of recovery and I am wondering if I can switch from a long vest (covering the entire torso) to a short one that just covers the chest.  Reason being that I tend to get bloated and it seems unnecessary to have abdominal compression.

I asked the nurse and she suggested that the long one will help everything to be more uniform. Is she correct?

My wife wears elomi bras, the "cate" specifically. I've tried the same bra but in soft cup because it's the only one that makes it down to 42b, but its not a good fit for me. She has a "matilda" as well but has problems with it slipping off her shoulders.
The Elomi Matilda has been my go to bra this Summer. It gives me great support, terrific shape, and the lace cups are all lace which lets the girls breathe.

If you're a C cup or larger, you should definitely give her a try!
Next time she wears her Matilda,  offer to help her adjust the straps.i had my wife help me with mine after having the same issue. The fitter had adjusted them for me when I first tried on my Matilda and I had to take up about another inch or so. Problem solved.

U.K. / Re: Karidis - crater deformity
« Last post by LondonLadSE8 on August 10, 2020, 03:13:16 AM »

If Karidis is offering a revision by a fat graft then it appears, on the surface at least, he agrees with you and acknowledges the crater deformity.

I am not a lawyer but my opinion is, regardless of any waiver or disclaimers in place a surgeon should carry out the operation with reasonable care and skill.

So whilst the outcome of surgeries may not be perfect you’d still expect not to be left with an unreasonable/unusual crater deformity considering you probably also paid a considerable premium to go to a top surgeon like Karidis.

In the first instance, you should consider his offer to perform the revision if he is willing and able to do.

Judging by the first 2 pics, I would not say you have gyne at all.  last one seems more like a little fat accentuated by bad posture.
