The cost of surgery will vary depending on where you live and what sort of facility the surgeon uses.  The fees at the hospital where I work are quite reasonable, but many hospitals charge more, making it less expensive to have the procedure done at a surgicenter, if your surgeon has access to such a facility.

It is possible to have a variety of deformities of the chest after gynecomastia surgery, including "nipple cave in," which is why you should try to have the procedure done by someone experienced with gynecomastia surgery.  These problems can still occur, but the risk is less.  As for nipple discharge, this may reflect stimulation of your breast tissue, possibly due to hormonal imbalance, so you might want to have this investigated before you have a procedure.  It's important to have your hormonal balance in order, otherwise you could have recurrence.

Finally, California is a big state, and you don't say where you are, but there are a number of surgeons who support this site who are listed:

Good luck,
