The treatment is quite impressive i must say, the room looks better than i thought it was

What was your spend? It seems like a viable option for lads who cant afford in the UK certainly changed my view on it if i was to choose between the NHS/BMI private or going to poland ... id go over poland without any hesitation

Believe me i would not go to a random place and put my life in someones hands not to trust them lol.
A friend also went previously to me.

The room was pretty impressive it was better then my hotel room lol, The whole surgery is on a new build around 2-3 years old, The place is modern and extreemly clean not a speck of dirt or dust and everyone must wear the little blue plastic things over any footwear they have.

The total cost including surgery, medicine's, Hotel for a week, Flights, transfers, food is around the 2000 mark.
I would reccomend this to anybody who can or cant afford surgery in higher places such as the UK, If i had a son and he got Gynecomastia this would be where i would take him.

The amount of british people going there is unreal i could personally name 5 of the top of my head. And i no she is very busy at the moment the waiting list gets bigger and bigger weekly.

Haha i would too NHS Is a waste of my hard earnt tax's. BMI is a load of sh%t its only good to get finance on.
As the surgeon explained to me she isnt a shoe seller she doesnt need to advertise her business people go to her through word of mouth.

Cheers TT.

DAY 8

UPDATE: Massaged lightly for around 10minutes this morning with Arnica cream which i finds reduces the bruising quite alot although it may just be covering them up i dont no really. I cant see how a cream could get rid of bruising instantly?
The cream is also abit dry to massage with, Would probably be better off with some type of lubricant or oil.
But seemed to do the trick.
Only other problem is i keep waking up on my side and with the vest below my nipples i think i figit to much while sleeping lol.
Anyway going to wear the vest untill friday then change it for a nike pro compresion vest i have and im also going to get my stiches out on friday.
Thanks..

DAY 12

A Minor bit Fluid has built up in the LHS not sure if this is blood or not as nothing is leaking out lol, RHS is fine.
Both have large amounts of scar tissue which i have been massaging with Arnica cream.
Will ask my doctor when i go a get the stitches removed on tueday (due to bloody bank holidays! was meant to be removed today!!)
If my GP doesn't recomend draining them with a syringe i may just do it myself around 3 1/2 weeks post op if it hasnt gone down as i am told this could turn into hard scar tissue making the LHS larger then the RHS, (which is currently is due to the fluid)  Sad

I will wait to see  what my GP say's anyway and go from there.

Will post pictures from the last few day's shortly!

3 days post op just had the drains removed an hour ago there was 2 diffrent people waiting to have the operation today.. Nufc2011 the feeling of freedom is amazing I would recommend anyone thinking about it to get it done it's a decition you won't regret... Back in the uk on Friday got loads of photos will update then.. Jake

I felt compelled to join the forum after I saw this (well, I was going to join later to post my story, but I had to reply to this)... I was one of those 2 people! Had the operation on the 13th, so just over a week ago. I have to agree with everything Jake's said, the surgeon/clinic/experience was great, can't recommend it enough. Anyone who's on the fence about it, just get it done! You'll thank yourself after.

I don't want to hijack Jake's thread so once my chest has healed a little bit more I'll start my own thread (there's a bit of swelling on the right side at the moment, I want to wait to see what happens with that before I post the full account). It'll mostly be a copy of this one though - I stayed in the IBIS, had a great experience, even my photos look the same! Congrats Jake, your result looks great but after meeting/dealing with Katarzyna I wouldn't expect anything else. Cheers for the story, good to see someone else's healing progress too. If you (or anyone else) has any questions/comparisons to make etc, feel free to ask.

Day 14
[/color]

UPDATE:

Havent had any swealing as far as i know so i think this compresion vest is pretty pointless for me?

Im very happy with the right hand side all flat with hard scar tissue below which im massaging just to smooth out.

The LHS im not so happy with but these are early days, Im not sure if it is fluid on my chest or a double mass of scar tissue, I seem to have scar tissue then another smaller thicker layer above which woobles lol im really not sure if it is scar tissue causing the wooble or if it is fluid?

Nipples im very happy with.

And i would be 110% happy if the LHS was the same as the RHS, but i will see what my Doctor say's on tuesday when hopefully i can get my stitches removed.

Took my vest of yesterday because it was to hot to wear one had a nice white t-shirt on for the first time in ages and felt maybe too comfortable in it due to the gynecomastia being gone. God it felt so good.

Will maybe wear the vest of a night time only now.

I cant wait for 1 month Post op so i can go hit the gym and go swimming e.c.t.

Video of me proding the left hand side of my chest do you think it scar tissue or fluid?

This will link you to the video as they have banned outside links for some stupid reason.

thanks for sharing your story.  I wanted to ask, do you think you needed to stay overnight at the hospital?  I'm getting the surgery done soon, and here in the States, it seems like all the surgeons release you as soon as the surgery is done.  So if any complications do arise later on during the night or day, there's really no medical staff around to tend to them.

So, again, was it necessary to stay overnight at the hospital?

Thanks

I wasn't the guy with the stone island jacket, but I know he uses a bodybuilding forum. I don't want to name it (or him) in case he doesn't want me to, but search round and you'll probably find him. I was in the toilet when you left the clinic I think... pre-op nerves that I didn't need at all!

That video looks similar to my right hand side mate. My left is great - little bit of swelling still, but it's been cut up and prodded with a vacuum, I'm not surprised there's a tiny bit of swelling! The right, however, is a bit worse. Maybe a bit more wobbly than in your video, it looks like I have a bit of gyno again lol. In fact when I press it down, it pops up outside where I'm pressing, kind of like a really small water bomb lol. I'm just hoping it'll go down - like you said, early days, I'm only 10 days into the healing process. I'll get mine checked out with my doc when I go for my stitches out (bloody bank holidays, right?) and let you know what she says, hope you'll post what yours says on here too. Oh and if you're still looking for your compression vest, the Underworks ones are pretty good, and they're 22 on amazon.

On a side note - to anyone who's had the op - you know the sort of bumpy, fluidy stuff that collects in your chest? When I massage it, I can feel some of it "popping", especially in my right side. I initially thought that was a good thing because surely that would mean the fluid was free to dissipate, but could it actually cause scarring/swelling? It's the only reason I can think of for my right hand side being more swollen than my left, unless my RHS is just having a harder time healing than my LHS. Anyone with experience of unequal healing, feel free to give myself and jakeyboy advice!
